1.Google - SEM & SEO
I have learned some concepts of digital marketing from this IIDE Masterclass. They have made me learn about the major three components of digital marketing, they are Search Engine Marketing [SEM], Search Engine Optimization [SEO], Social Media Marketing [SMM].
First of all, if we look for the total time a youngster spend on mobile phone rapidly increased from 6hrs to 12hrs per day due to the impact of covid. The people either spend their time on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, LinkedIn or they simply search something on google for knowing informations. The social media and google are the broad category which will let the user to visit our website.
If we search anything on google it will display the results inwhich the first some places are covered by ads which was known as google ads and it was done by search engine marketing[SEM]. To make their content display as ad on the google one has to pay for google. The one who is not ready to pay can also make it free by using search engine optimization [SEO]. It was known as organic results and will appear below the ads.
Also, there are the three main steps in making their ad and content display at the top of the google. Firstly, one has to find keywords relating the content. In this step, one has to find as many as possible keywords. The keywords must be the words or terms which would people frequently uses on google for searching. There is a app called Uber suggest - free tool which helps people to find out how many times the keywords was used by the people during the search. By using this app we can find out the frequency for the usage of the word. Secondly, we need to filter the keywords with regards to the buying intention of the buyer. Most of the window shoppers use short keywords for searching but the one who is with buying intention uses long sized keywords. While choosing keyword we need to attract the people with buying intention. Lastly, we need to stuff our keywords on our website. Our keywords must be on the website's URL, Heading and also frequently repeated on our content. These are the steps of making our content popular in Search Engine Marketing [SEM]& Search Engine Optimization [SEO] in google.
2.Social media - Facebook & Instagram Ads
Commonly if we use social media surely there will be posts regarding the ads. There is an option on facebook and instagram where we can create the advertisement of our own and can attract people relating our content. The process of making ad contains the location, age group, demographic factors, gadget one uses and much more. We can use those particulars to create our ad. By publishing the ad as post/story/explore/search we can make people know about our content. These are all steps to make our content popular on social media.
Finally they made me learn about the basic concepts of other digital marketing components.Those components are, E-Mail marketing, SMS marketing, Remarketing, Online Reputation Management, Influencer Marketing.
Atlast i have attended a quiz regarding the masterclass. I have secured 100% in that quiz and they provided a certification for me. I feel very glad of receiving it.
